Hey Y'all. My first post here.
At 49 years old, married 30 years, with two adult kids, I've just about seen it all and done it all but this was a big week for me. My invention/product finally became patent pending, officially. Then I signed up for a trade show. (interesting story to come) and I located and made an agreement with a foster kids charity to bless them with 10% of profits from my business. Quite an interesting and exciting week!
I've owned half a dozen businesses or so in the past with varying success, everything from a plumbing business to a small cafe. I've lived in the corporate world, been downsized out of a career, been on welfare (4 years), been up, down and all around financially but always put my family and God first, and it's worked out well for me. I'm a blessed man regardless of what's in my bank account.
Now I'm off on another exciting adventure trying to bring my product to market and to the masses. I look forward to sharing that journey with anyone who'd like to go along for the ride.
That trade show I mentioned earlier is the National Hardware Trade show in Las Vegas, May 7-9. My booth is right next to the paint brush cover guy that frequents this forum and has shared his story here!
I look forward to hanging out!
