Hi Everyone!

Greetings from the night of Hungary!

I read TMF many years ago, it impacted my soul in my 20s but I went to job to job, than I read Unscipted. I like reading, I have read a lot of books on personal development, philosophy and business as I came from a poor and absolute "not entrepreneurial" background, I felt I need to dig deep into things. But in the rat race I kept running as I was programmed for years, than I picked them up again cca 2-3 years ago. I realized how different they are... as I am an introvert man and I studied science and was not comfortable with most of the self help and business books.

First of all, I would like to thank you MJ DeMarco! You cant imagine how transformative and inspiring effect it had. I always felt like an outsider. I liked earth science and I graduated in this field but from my early age I felt inside that this way of the life - to get a job, to climb the ladder and get the monthly salary - is a generated thing which help for lot of people organize their life, but its a "captivity"....

I left my last job cca 2 years ago and I am tutoring math for students. I'm quite good at it... on the street of my small city, lots of people great me as "teacher".... oh my God how ego booster it is... I made some trainings and group programs to incease my income, but I reached the top. I dont want to do this in my whole life... I see this as a key to my freedom. Now I have a free mind, I don't have to listen to my coworkers or my boss voice all the day...

The forum is great and inspiring! I really searched offline groups, people who live near to me, but most of my friends who stepped into the entrepreneur world search shortcuts and use unethical ways, which I dont wanted. I'm conservative, a little bit spiritual and the hard Eastern European ways of gold digging are far from me. Of course most of my friends are employed and they are asking me each day; this was worth it??? I got this question from my parents, syster, neighbor... everyone. Because I dont drive a lambo... 😀 yet.

The forum is GOLD! It inspires me to continuously rewrite my original script and broaden my horizons. Great to be here! I hope I can add some value also!

warm regards
Joseph

Welcome to the forum (teacher) Joseph.

Is there a possibility to make your teaching market bigger through other channels?
Good that you're going the ethical way, best way in my perspective.
People who are rich in wallet, but poor in head and heart are still not rich in my eyes.

I advice you to follow @Isaac Odongo - he is a school teacher and his journey is awesome.
Lot's of stuff to learn there.

Two threads for extra value:

I wish you the best in your Fastlane journey.
Kind regards from The Netherlands

Thank you Lyzmin! :)

I have followed this threads already and @Isaac Odongo also, his way to this point with his book is exciting. I read each and every post, just I needed to stop lurking.... to change my way in this forum. Amazing, that Isaac, thousands of kilometers from europe, has similar background and fight with the scripted world.

@Isaac Odongo, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate You! :) I read TMF on my mother tongue and that time my english level was a joke and I decided to improve the skill first of all to read in english. I agree with you, that it needed practicing day by day. I struggled in school to learn english, it was my third language (the first one is german) but later I realized that english is the gate and the way (in reality Jesus... :) ) to a wider world and also to fastlane. I have read Unscipted in English, it was very funny to dig into the many jokes which MJ used in it, it was not the "usual, avarage" english. 😀

...but it was worth it :) The key point, for ex Unscripted is not available on my mother tongue. Yet ;).

This is an advantage for US citizens... but I saw recently in an other post discussed this subject. I knew that this could not be an excuse... as I have more IQ than 100 and I have internet 😀 we can drop this to the lies
- I cant speak english 😀

Reading the forum is also an opportunity to expand the language :)

Have a great saturday!
J
