Wow, very humbling. Reminds me of Team Hoyt ... the Father of the Century.

I have had a go of it for the past 2 weeks; I had all 4 wisdom teeth out (they had to drill into my jaw) and then I developed strep throat and an ear infection. I was at the doctor's office Monday and was doing everything I could to not cry from the pain and frustration. Brushing my teeth has been an incredibly painful process...and forget about eating, talking or even sleeping for that matter. In short, the past two weeks have sucked big time.

While I was waiting for my prescriptions to be filled, a news story came on about a little boy who was dying of Leukemia. He is 11. When asked how he felt about dying, he responded that overall he had a pretty fun 11 years here. Instant attitude adjustment for me! I have never been so thankful to have strep throat or jaw pain until just then. There are no guarantees in life, and life is not fair. Focus on what is working and be outrageously thankful for what you do have in your corner.

:nonod: <-- Me, being ashamed that I've ever complained about anything ever in my idyllic life. (Couldn't find an emoticon of one covering one's face in utter humiliation!)

Loved the first video and sent it to several friends. Saw the second one in school...never did like to cry in front of peers
