Hey Everyone!
I found this website searching for forums for entrepreneurs!
My Background:
I have been in the workforce for around 16 years and had my first entrepreneurial venture at the age of 20. I have been involved with 4 "startups" which included new businesses that I owned, or existing companies building new products to bring to the market.
Where I am at now:
As the title of the post suggests, I am currently in transition. I just finished around 2 years with a company working on an enterprise technology platform, leading a team to bring it from an Alpha state through Beta and into the market. I was heavily involved in research and development, design, and then managing it after it reached the market. Unfortunately, the company was going through an acquisition and I ended up with the short end of the stick and was let go. Currently looking at next steps in my career.
Where I am going:
After developing a wildly profitable product, I have a business model and the approach to penetrate a growing industry. This transition is still fresh, so I am still getting my bearings and am working on a prototype to build a proof of concept off of to potentially take to investors or strategic partners.
Hope to gain some knowledge from these forums on how to progress through this and potentially make some connections while I am at it!
