Hi All,

How could you break into a Company that has somebody acting in-house for the service you provide?

For example, I provide designs for building/architectural engineering, but some companies employ these building/architectural design engineers in house.

Cheers

Well you cant most likely, they already have someone for that.
Its like asking how do I sell water to someone who already has water...

Well it's not really is it. Selling water is completely different to doing design work. With your logic if a company employed anyone in house you should just leave them alone and not bother!

Many people have gotten rich by selling water coolers to offices that already have running water. Make your offer very attractive and let‘s see what the world thinks.

Thats exactly what I`m saying. Leave them alone and dont bother.

Finding clients and selling a service is hard enough.
Dont make it harder by trying to sell it to a company who already have the service in-house.

Most likely you wont be able to.
Instead focus on companies who need the service and dont have it available in-house.
Maximize your chances.
