Online or traditional advertising, where & what would you devote your budget towards?

The reason im asking is I have a new service based biz offering and Im trying to decide on the traditional yellow pages etc, or more regionally placed google ads and regional biz listings like kudzu.com

your input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Do you have other ideas for offline besides yellow pages?

alot of our clients at the 1031 exchange company came from referrals from accountants and real estate agents other clients.

we did some yellow page listings and in my opinion they werent worth the price. I'd get a listing in maybe the biggest local market but I wouldnt spend my entire budget in yellow pages.

I would try to get the best of both worlds and spend some money on each. then expand your campaigns as you get more cash to put towards advertising.

Yes, actually i planned on initially word of mouth advertising with small/postcard flyers with local million dollar+ real estate agents, sports agents & lawyers, plus at the company I work at. I see the yellow pages as more old school, so I want to try somethings "out of the box"
