This is more of an open the floor for debate than an actual idea of mine, but after having a discussion with a co-worker, the light-bulb struck- who's making money off of all those pong variations you find on most phones/ipods/etc???
It seems that the typical paddle hits ball, ball bounces off of bricks and breaks brick or you play against a computer paddle is EVERYWHERE!!!
A game that is so simple, even complex variants are still just based off the most primative of e-gaming, Pong, but so addicting and while most of these games are included with our handheld electronics I have to imagine that there's some programmer out there getting licensing/royalty checks from either RIM, Apple, Motorola, etc and that there's more than the original creator of Pong that is cashing in on this "craze".
Anyone with knowledge/opinions on this please feel free to chime in.
As far as the forum, I figured since it's programming and electronics that e-Biz made the most sense if not, mods please move this.
