Ok, the title is a joke. Relax.
Hey everyone!
I've read MJ's Fastlane Millionaire book and am currently deep into Unscripted .
I also like how much important and useful info there is on this forum.
Just recently I stopped working on a VR gaming project that went on for 2 years.
Previously I also did a robotics project that almost blew in my face. I worked on that for 1 year.
My final lesson from both ventures is that the project shouldn't be too complex or take too much time to make a profit.
This month my plan is to absorb as much knowledge as possible about running a successful business. I dubbed it "no execution September". I will learn about how to identify a need and hit the ground running by providing great relative value before I even have a product. I'll also learn from you guys through your posts and comments. I'll continue reading MJ's books.
I'm aware that execution is king. And I agree. But I want to prepare enough so I waste less time later by choosing a product with an actual need.
The ideal business I want to run is a SaaS like Fresha, Lever.co, Loom, ProductHunt, Op.gg. Not sure if this counts as advertising, I'm just listing random websites. Of course, I realize that's what I want, not what the market needs. Which doesn't matter if it's not adding relative value.
