BTW, I think TV and video production industry is really interesting. If you have a really good content, then TV companies will be chasing you. Look at Justin.tv model for example.
Also, there are some grants for producing video content with some special purposes, e.g. related to social or environmental issues.

I think YouTube originals are still a massive opportunity. Try sinking your teeth into quality YouTube content to scratch that itch.

You may find a non traditional route for your creativity.

You have to research for it like a lot. You have to do something different because there is a lot of competition out there. Starting small is a good thing because then only you can explore more and get there where you want. ALL THE BEST!
