Obviously, this relates to MJ's statement that you should run from someone who offers that. I agree with pretty much everything else in the book, but my personal experience of this is very different. I want to work out why.

I offer an online program in documentary storytelling, a community and mentorship from me. The skill they learn takes them to a world-class level (over a year), and I've done myself (and still do) to the absolute highest global level. This (my) skill has been fundamentally important to some of the most successful doc series and films that exist.

So, where's the problem with it?
