Sorry forgot to add the context, so it will be a customer(and stranger) of my business. Before working I'm looking to build a relationship and want to talk about what they are most interested in.
I get sold to all the time. I buy from some. I'm friendly with some. Let me put a question to you: Two guys come in to sell to me. One guy is upfront, and clearly explains what his product/service can do for me. The other sees a picture of my kid and pretends to be interested. He's 24 and still has a faint stain from the ink stamp of the club he went to over the weekend on his hand. He's also got a good product, and is confident in it, but he led off by trying to manipulate me by feigning interest in what interests me.
Which guy do you think I buy from?
