What do you people think about robots? Is there is a growing market for them? And if it is going to big as big as Personal Computers or Mobile phones?

I don't necessarily mean full humonoid robots, which still might be possible in the future, but more of robotic household appliances. For example, searches for 'robot vacuum cleaner' started to increase since 2009 and keep growing presently.

Hi Stayer

I have a roomba which cleans the floors of my home. It's a huge time saver and really takes the hassle out of cleaning! My next step is to get one that was also wash the floors - a scuba.

exactly. there is also a robotic lawn mower and a pool cleaner. ten years ago we could only fantasize about robotic appliances - now they are reality. and that's just the beginning.

so, the idea is to establish a robotic brand selling this type of robots (they cost $20-50/piece to make in China and factories can put your name on it) than gradually progressing into selling more sophisticated robots as they get developed in the future.

I envision a world where humans no longer do hard, unskilled labor but instead robots do it. Farming, manufacturing, cleaning, fast food preparation, etc. The human population will surely shrink as we become fatter and lazier, dying earlier and having fewer kids.

We're kind of in this world now, except more in a transition period. Hopefully, robots never really become humanoid.... those can stay in the fetish markets.
