I'm working through my first novel which I plan to make the first part of a trilogy. I'm really enjoying it too.

I have a question - What length or format is best when you are getting started? I am aiming for 50k words for each of my first three books. However, I could easily make them 20k words and release seven or eight different titles as part of a series.

Which do you think is better to build your reputation on, please your readers and ultimately sell more books?
