Hey everyone,

I've been wrestling with a problem lately and I'm genuinely curious if it's just me, or if other founders feel this too.

I have a huge, ambitious 10-year vision for my business. I know the "what" and the "why." The problem is the "how" on a day-to-day basis. My daily reality is a storm of urgent emails, client demands, putting out fires, and a to-do list that feels more like a dumping ground for random thoughts than a strategic plan.

At the end of the day, I'm exhausted and I've been busy, but I often have this nagging feeling that I didn't actually move the needle on the big goals. I'm stuck in the "tyranny of the urgent," and my long-term vision feels like it's getting further away.

I've tried all the standard productivity apps, but they mostly just feel like prettier lists of the same chaotic tasks. They don't help me answer the fundamental question: "Of the 20 things I could do right now, what is the #1 thing I should do to get closer to my ultimate goal?"

So, I started building a tool for myself to fix this. The core idea is an AI strategist that does the following:

  1. Works backward from the big vision: I tell it my 10-year goal, and it breaks it down into measurable yearly milestones, monthly objectives, weekly targets, and finally, a prioritized list of daily tasks.
  2. Prioritizes the day for me: It looks at my goals and any urgent calendar events and tells me, "This is your most important task today."
  3. Makes input effortless: I'm often not at my desk when I have an idea, so I built it around voice input. I can just talk to it and it captures the task without me having to stop what I'm doing.
  4. Keeps me honest: I even added a little AI accountability coach that checks in to make sure I'm not procrastinating on the important stuff.
So, my question to you all is: Am I just building this for myself, or does this problem resonate with anyone else?

How are you currently bridging that massive gap between your day-to-day chaos and your huge, long-term ambitions? Are you using a specific system, a combination of tools, or just sheer force of will?
