How do I learn how to manage money?

I'm in highschool, I'm not sure what I should do with money that I make. How much to keep to myself, where to put it (invest?, keep in bank account?)

Put excess money in a savings account. That way your money will at least be earning some interest as opposed to having it in a checking with 0% interest. You could also spend some of your excess money starting a business. Depends on your circumstances. Good luck

if you are working a job use the saved money to buy something that will allow you to make much more money

work at 15/hr for a week, buy a pressure washer, quit the gay job, go make $300 a day power-washing decks, save up and do the same kind of thing. Treat yourself and buy a new pair of shoes.

Anyone telling you to save your money for the sake of saving it is dumb.
