"YOU ARE THE AVERAGE OF THE 5 PEOPLE YOU SPEND THE MOST TIME WITH"

Hey guys. My name is Dat (Pronounced "Who Dat"), and I'm looking to form a small group of motivated individuals who are in the ecommerce business. I've never been a part of a mastermind group before; however, I'm hoping to learn with the members as we go.

The main focuses of this group will be:
1. Discuss and share techniques/ideas to improve each other's businesses.
2. Motivate one another to complete certain tasks/goals each week.
3. Possibly work on future projects together.
4. Build better habits and a positive and hard-working mindset.

I'm hoping to have 5-6 members including myself--primarily individuals who have something started within the last few months or even experienced individuals who are nice enough to mentor this group. Meeting would be every Sunday night to help motivate everyone before the new week starts.

A little about me

I graduated cum laude as a welding engineer at LeTourneau, a private Christian university. While taking a break in the summer before applying for jobs, I started working on a small business that was generating about 17k in sales the third month and totaling 50k in sales for 4 months, starting from nothing. I know it's not much, but I wasn't expecting it to grow at all. Soon, I started working for Kiewit/TIC in the Woodlands at the end of the third month. Most of my time was taken away from my business for the 9-5. You can guess what happened.

My last day at Kiewit/TIC was Christmas. Three main reasons I decided to work for them was to learn the day-to-day business practices of a major company, to meet the condescending boss who would motivate me to quit the 9-5 and start my business venture, and to gain experience with my degree in case business fails. I've already made up my mind that that was my last 9-5 job ever, but it's always good to have a backup plan anyways.

I've already written down certain tasks I must accomplish each month.
My goal this year is to hit $1 million in profits by December 31.

What's your goal for 2016? How are you going about making it happen?

If you are interested in being a part of this group, please do not hesitate to send me a message. I appreciate your time!

Hello, I'm also in Houston and would be interested in joining your mastermind. I've been thinking of joining one for awhile, but haven't seen one based in Houston before. I built a six figure company over the past 3 years, but working with my high maintenance legal clients has been stressful. I finally had the courage to fire most of them them at the end of 2015, and now my goal is to succeed with E-commerce/Amazon. What type of business are you going to focus on?

What is up MF community?

It's been a minute since I've been on the forum. Ever since the members in this thread met up in 2016, we've been through about 9 people and ended with 4 members who are still standing and making somewhere in the 6-figure range a year. It's been a roller-coaster ride, and I've personally come to realize for a fact that no matter how much success we attain, there are always issues that come along with it, ALWAYS. The grind has to continue. If you stop, so will your business/s.

Next month will be our 4-year anniversary (lol @ the thought of becoming a millionaire in one year). The mastermind group has decided to bring on a new member to give us a little spark, a push, a hip thrust. Yes, we have gotten a little too comfortable so having a new member may help revitalize the spark in us to break into the next level, 7 figures. I wonder if a member is already worth 7 though...

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has their own business/s going for at least one year and generating at least $100K/year in revenue. That's not so hard is it? Maybe I should change it to $100K/year in profit. To apply, you will only need to pay the non-refundable initiation fee of $2500. The group will take 4 applicants, so I guess you can say the total amount is $10,000, non-refundable. I'm kidding. But it is mandatory that you have a good amount of business experience, have a very positive mental attitude, and a fire under your butt to grind like your family's life for three generations depends on it. We are very picky with who we surround ourselves with now. We have no problem letting you go if you're not a good match, are wanting to take without providing value in return, or just mentally dragging everyone down.

Other notes:
1. We meet at least once a month.
2. We prefer someone in the Houston area.
3. We will meet up with as many people (both female/male) from this forum unless we find a possible candidate somewhere else.

Hoping to hear back from you guys/gals.

Bump. Guess not many people on the forum are from Houston or have a business yet?
