Ok so I am not looking for legal advice here, only EXPERT advice. I am looking to form a Holding company

Holding company - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I maybe active in 1 or 2 at the most but the other companies I would be simply a member in another LLC. I am looking for some expert (not legal) advice on:

a) Experiences you may have had (good/bad)
b) Business structure best to utilize this and how to pass funds from one of your subsidiaries to your Holding co. without being double taxed
c) Good books I can read that will cover best practices in dealing with a Holding company.
