I am a 36 year old South Africa currently working in the banking industry. I've always had a dream to become financially independent by owning my business and be in full control of my life. I guess, i just never had the courage to start something meaningful. I like to read a lot and over the years i developed a good habit of living within my means and saving a portion of my monthly salary with the hope of retiring comfortably. I'm even a small scale cattle farmer and spend most of my time on weekends at the farm. I bought The Millionaire Fastlane a week ago and the book opened my eyes and confirmed some of the frustrations I've always had about cruising in the slow lane. This book made me realise that there is more i could do and that i was just playing small with my life.

The book has strengthened my resolve to become financially independent by being an Entrepreneur and living the life I've always wanted. I'm hoping to interact with inspirational and driven entrepreneurs and work towards building a secured life for myself and loved ones. I believe that there are a lot of opportunities that exist in South Africa and across the African continent and with the right type of energy and attitude, i'll succeed. I'm under no illusions that the road ahead is challenging but i'm comforted by the fact that within this forum, i'll be able to get the guidance from colleagues who are on a similar journey as mine.

So lets rock and roll!!!
