Hi, I'm Joe. I'm here to hopefully find some people interested in my mission. It would be great to bounce some ideas around and get some feedback.

I run a site for local business ads. It's a hobby really. My intention is to grow a community where local businesses promote their services and where consumers go to find and compare whats being offered in their neighborhoods.

Many people say, why build another listing site? I don't think what I'm building is just another directory. Why is it that the most easy way to advertise seems broken? I'm talking about classified ads.

When I really think about it, I compare classified sites to forums. The concept is fairly similar. People post in hope to capture other peoples attention. It's an efficient way to get feedback, isn't it?

So I set out to fix a model for a niche that needs innovation. Only a small percent of businesses use classifieds. We all know classified ads are the best way to connect with the community.
