I'm Marc DeLeonibus, the founder and CEO of QuotePie located in Annapolis, Maryland. QuotePie is a company that I started a couple years ago while working as a commercial insurance broker. Long story short I saw an aspect of an industry that was stuck in the stone-age and built a streamlined solution for it.
QuotePie is a free tool that makes it really easy for a business to shop insurance quotes from the best insurance agents in the country. Top agents compete to provide the best pricing and coverage for a businesses insurance needs (Liability, Property, Workers Comp, Commercial Auto, Etc..). It's similar in concept to what LendingTree did for the mortgage industry.
Through building QuotePie from scratch I made a number of mistakes and learned some valuable lessons that I hope to share with everyone on when appropriate. I'm also hoping to learn from some of you so I can avoid making anymore mistakes as well.
