Just wanted say hello and give everyone a little background on who I am.
I’ve been working as a content creator / manager a term I hate by the way as it’s such a broad term. A more accurate title would be video marketing which I’ve been doing for 3 years and I know for a lot of people it’s the dream job and although it’s been a great job, great experience and I’ve learnt a ton I’m ready to move on. I’m no longer learning anything new and like most people want out of the rat race.
I still love films, I love writing, shooting and editing moving pictures and I’m also very interested in marketing and how video can be used to influence the viewers.
Therefore I’m looking to go freelance mainly so I have more time to focus on building a digital productocracy which is a creative course teaching people how to make films on their smartphones whilst simultaneously building my YouTube channel. I would love to design a physical product for this market one day where I’m able to solve a real problem / pain point. What problems do you have when using your phone to film or take pictures?
I’m very interested in investing my money in property specifically short term rentals. I’ve been on airbnb for the last 2 years where I make on average £1000 a month (profit) which is half of what I earn and which I’ve been saving and bought a second property this time in cash and also overseas. I collect the keys soon so looking forward to getting this off the ground and with little costs as I won’t have a mortgage on this one. It’s pretty exciting as it’s a new venture in a new country where I don’t speak there language but very keen to learn both their language and culture. Anyone here in the short term rentals game?
Outside of this I’m an avid martial artists, I’ve had 2 MMA fights and still undefeated (stay humble) and a competed in a bunch of BJJ comps but I just love training everyday it’s a lifestyle for me and would love to keep this up until the day I die. This sport has given me so much but it’s pretty taxing on the body and I’m starting to feel the wear and tear as I grow older. Recovery is important and is something I don’t do enough of and don’t do effectively so I am slowly integrating into my weekly training plan.
The nutrition goes hand in hand with the recovery and training so for the 8 / 9 years I’ve been training I’ve always had a keen interest in optimising my nutrition and is another market I love. Anyone else have friends that call them the healthiest person on the planet?
Anyway nice to meet you all, loved the rat race, unscripted and the milly fast lane and this has been the natural progression so very much looking forward to diving into this forum.
Stay blessed all x
