Hey everyone I just ran across this site while searching for info about the Forex markets, and just couldn't stop reading everything else for 3 hours hehe.
Anyways about me- I just turned 23 and find myself trying to get away from the daily grind of my real JOB. I guess I am just trying to stay on track with my goals I had set at the age of 18, that is to have my first million dollar year by the age of 25. Well needless to say it worked out great at the beginning my first year out of high school I netted about 40k, the next 88k, then 155k and now I am in this rut that I can't seem to break out of since then. I climbed the ranks to the top of my day job at the age of 20 and it's about a 90k a year job, at the time I was also making tons of money in advantage gambling online. Once that dried up I promptly moved to being an online gambling affiliate webmaster although I really had no idea how to run a website but I learned on the way. The governmont passed the UIGEA and my site only brings in about 25% of what it used to, working on websites really is not a passion of mine so I don't do much with it anymore either. I am pretty bleak as far as reaching my goal as I have gone backwards for a full year now.
But I figured to start fresh and try to exploit some forex or futures inefficiencys by doing arbitrage. From what I have seen Forex is a zero sum game just like gambling basically, so really no trading strategy you use can work in the long run especially with the broker spread. Or am I wrong? I hope so
I am just searching to try and find a hole and overcome the brokers comission and then some. So far I haven't found anything comparable to gambling arbs.
