Hello, everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself and get things rolling. I'm here due to an ever-pressing inkling that there is something else out there for me. I am an absolute slowlane lemming who has worked in the corporate world for the last 15 years because it's the "safe", "responsible" thing to do. I've actually had a great run and have been very fortunate to work for some great companies. Nevertheless, the nagging feeling that there is something else out there for me just won't go away. I've dabbled in a few entrepreneurial ventures but nothing that got off the ground. I realize now that I did too much planning and not enough executing. Duh! I'm really in introspection and idea generation mode now. What drives me most is the possibility of someday living an alarm clock free life - well that, and the opportunity to show my children (which I don't yet have) the world. It feels good to be able to focus on something other than the day to day of my real job. I hope to get some great inspiration from all of you!
