I'm new here so I wanted to introduce myself
My name is Aleksandra and I am from a small city in Poland.
I'm here looking for inspiration, motivation and people who want from life more than average to network with.
What brought me here? A while ago I decided to save money (I wanted to buy a flat), which lead me to working 300+ hours monthly, feeling really unhappy and not saving as much as I imagined. I have realized that I'm beginning to hate my job (and I loved it prior to that!). I calculated that with same hourly wage and same number of worked hour I can buy a flat in only 15 years and realizedthet this was the wrong way to go. Looking for another ideas for life I came across the book (still reading it!). Here on the forum I hope to find daily inspiration from ambitious people around the world and (hopefully!) make some friends.
My hopes for the future? What I want? Well, mostly freedom. I like my job, I don't want to quit, what I don't want is to work second after-hours job in order to buy groceries. I don't have any exact plans at the moment. Right now I only know two things - I can work hard and force myelf to get out of bed even when borderline exahausted and second, I can see when this road leads to nowhere and quit. Starting new year I work only one job, so I can spend rest of the time working on my own projects!
