Hey guys..
This isn't actually my first 'intro'. Two years ago my brother introduced me to this site, and I was really just interested in online poker at the time. However, my brother bought the book for me for christmas and wow! I am excited to get started. Very inspirational and a great book for a newcomer like me, I must say!
I come from a family where, for instance.. just the other day after my father asked me what I was looking at on the computer and I replied 'real estate investing', I was told I was wasting my time. "Takes money to make money blah blah blah". Definitely a job pusher, that's for sure. I don't know if real estate will be my path, but I am open to anything at this point.
Since the only foundation I currently have when it comes to financing and business is MJ's book and Rich Dad Poor Dad's audible, I am so eager to start, but not really sure where exactly. I am really excited to find my 'path'. I am taking snowbank's advice and I have been reading over PhxMJ's posts as well as some other 'top dogs', but does anyone else have any other advice? Anything that would help me progress as an entrepreneur quicker, or something you wish someone told you when starting? For example: maybe classic books that any entrepreneur should have under their belt?
I think I am going to order Trade your way to financial freedom by Van Tharp, which seems to be a book recommended quite often around here and elsewhere for stocks. I know in MJ's book, stocks are recommended to not 'be' the fastlane or path to wealth, but I find them pretty interesting, not going to lie!
I have a tendency to dive deep into things I am interested in, and have been a member of many different forums over the years. After lurking around here for a little while and reading any post that interests me really, I must say, this forum is FULL of great information and I can tell it is a really helpful and unselfish community. I look forward to meeting all of you! Hopefully I will have enough knowledge soon to be able to help others, too! Thanks for reading!

PS. I actually have a few ideas that came to my mind, but I am almost afraid to share them! I want to tell you guys them so bad, haha, and I know ideas are only 'potential speed', but what if someone decides to execute them???!
