According to what I've read, not only does Schiff have a track record of great economic insight, but so does Dent, as far a predicting crashes and the reasons why. I was in Borders Bookstore earlier today and looked through The Great Depression Ahead and it seems that though they are both on the same page as to the causes of our current economic conditions, one advocates precious metals investing along with foreign securities/bonds, while the other pushes "high-grade bonds"...whatever those are if they exist. It doesn't seem reasonable to me to invest in foreign bonds because most central banks are structured the same as ours.
