Hello everyone.
My name is Adam, I recently moved from one of the biggest polish towns to somewhere more quiet (cheaper) and got a nice new house, debt free.
I am working as a Software Engineer at one of the biggest bank corporations. Prior to that I used to work as a salesman (Audio systems) and was an acoustic engineer for around 6 years and this was related to field of my studies. The reason why I switched to IT was of course money. I really liked working as an acoustic engineer, I had a possibility to manage acoustic laboratory, do a lot of engineering work, provide training and handle sales talks and all off that for a miserable pay compared to these you can get working at a register in supermarket.
Basically, me, my wife and our only son, are doing good money wise. The problem is, I do not feel like I'm in a good place. I get sick of amount of corporate bull****, seeing people change with role progression from great guys to zombies.
I miss contact with real people, not "co-workers". I always felt the need of having something mine.
I have an idea for business but I have not thought of it seriously since now.
Hope this place will keep me on a path to independence
