I am going to Spain for 6 months from January. I am still hunting around for a place that would be stylish, overlooking beach/sea and affordable. The price for a single bedroom will be roughly €200 a month.

Great point! I've plenty of friends who are not native English speakers, but do TEFL. I've always assumed that one must be native English speaker to teach English, because of an accent barrier. But then again, sometimes foreign people have better communication skills than native speakers I guess.
