Hey guys, I have a question regarding whether or not to create a company in my name right now.


I am looking to do some freelance photography/contract IT consulting and general repair work. I would like to write some things off for taxes and would like to have a company in my name to do so..

Is this a good or bad idea?

Does a company take a lot to maintain even if I'm using it for only side work for the time being?

I don't really know where to start or if this is even a good idea?
