Hello everyone, new here!

I'm Jesse, and I ran into this site while doing some googling on "How to start a software company with no ideas", which led me to "The Foundation", which led me to some reviews here that basically said "don't bother". Looks as though this site is based on "The Millionaire Fastlane ", so I'll have to pick that one up.

But I'm still at a loss to where to begin. I've been a software developer for about 10 years, but have always had the idea in the back of my mind about starting my own company. I don't really know anything about business or software companies, for that matter.

I am ready to buckle down and start working on this, but don't know where to start. Are there some go-to posts here? I'm sure this is asked a lot here, so I figured it's been answered many times already.

Any books I should grab?

Any other advice?
