Quick question that seems to run through my brain...

How do you make a full time living from trading?
What account size allowed/allows you to go full time?

I would love to trade full time and put excess profits into
other investments.

Just a thought for some of you more experienced at this.

Thanks

Joe

Thats my plan!

In order to trade like that with forex I think I would need about 100-250k sized account depending on what % I can reliably get out of it...

what kind of trading are you interested in? Thats going to make the difference in how people can answer you.

I have a degree in finance, studied options and futures under a floor
trader a while back, and invest in stocks for more of a longer term
strategy.

I would trade commodities more than stocks.

Thanks for the reply

Joe,
Carrie is correct to say that $100k-$250k is an ideal start. You can make it happen with $100k but the more the better your odds will be of survival and success.

Futures/Commodities is an excellent area to trade for a living.
