Hey Everyone, I've seen some threads about fulfillment by amazon, and I decided to go ahead and give it a wack.

My startup budget is A LOT.

What I've done so far:
- Went out and got 5 FREE books worth around $6-$15 each.
- Found a few old amazon boxes I can pack my first shipment in.
What I still need to do:
- Make an amazon seller account.
- Register for FBA

That's about it for right now.

Oh and god forbid those darn label printers. If it weren't for amazons labeling service i'd be out $150

Oh and i'm 100 years of age.
Yeah, plus shipping things in. A lot of that you could scrape together, but you are going to need more then $10. Even a few hundred could get you moving somewhere

So you haven't made your first shipment yet.

What you'll find is that you need more books to make it worthwhile. You can't just send in a box with 5 books.
Well, in theory you can, but you'll find that if you're doing it anyway, you'd better get more books to ship and sell.

Shipping the box will cost you anyway in terms of the box itself, the postage, the filler you need to fill up the box and so on.

If I send in a FBA box, most of times it's with 10 to 20 books in it, but almost all books I sell are big in size.
If you are selling paperbacks, there probably will fit 40 or so in even a small box.

Try to get to that number.

The FBA packing process itself is in the beginning a bit complex but very doable. I learned it watching youtube video's.
Setting up the selling account is a breeze.

$10? I assume you are a troll, or 13.

I apologize if I sounded like a troll, or 13. I was told that I can get a lot of supplies for free, and i made this post before doing my research. After going out and getting everything together I was rolling over $50 just on my first trip. (As i said above)

So again Vig, I do apologize if I sounded like a troll, or 13. But I believe i saw somewhere that you were in Ecommerce, so i can completely understand how you saw this as a joke.

Changing your OP now makes this whole thread incomprehensible.

Thread closed. You can start a progress thread down the road when you have progress. Good luck.
