Getting better at writing is simple: Write 30 minutes a week / day. Commit to having at least one new article on Medium as an author each Friday.

I've managed to do this about 50% of the weeks - many articles never end up being published. Most of them that are published go no where. A few got traction and have people that like them.

As for what to put on a website...I'm not sure anyone can provide too much advice beyond a website. That's totally your product to develop. Look at Fiverr for people who can make websites for a few hundred USD.
