Forum performance

Hey guys,

In the last days I often had problems loading the forum, it took very long or didn't load at all etc. Did anybody else also experience this? Might be worth looking into it if I'm not the only one with this issue.

Irony, I just tried to post that this happened to me too in the past few days but everything ok now, and then this post didn't come through

It especially gets slow when liking the posts, but not always.

The site has gone down several times this week, including the last few days. During those periods, it appeared unavailable, or appeared to load slow. During such time, the occurrence is usually 10-15 minutes. Other than that, I'm not seeing any issues albeit, the aforementioned is definitely an issue.

Yeah it was just in the last days for me.

Just out of interest: what kind of hosting requires this forum? Are you running it on a dedicated server?

No problems loading the forum, however on 4 separate occasions I lost a post when I hit reply.

It's a little upsetting because they weren't just "great job" type-posts. they were well-thought out responses that take 30+minutes each.

I usually type long-format responses in notepad and copy+paste into forums, but it slipped my mind and I learned my lesson. I never bothered to retype my responses because it'd take too long lol .

I usually just copy my longer posts to the clipboard before clicking send. This will keep you safe, except your computer crashes
