and it is reinforcing an incorrect (and frankly tired) stereotype.

Women are NOT bad drivers.
Yes, we get into more fender benders
(I believe this has more to do with us reporting them,
women being more detailed oriented,

but we are less likely to kill people.

That video was just funny regardless of gender. As an aside one of the best drivers I ever met was a 17 yr old girl involved with PCA. Pretty cute too.

Every time driving comes up
in mixed company,
the 'women can't drive' jokes come out.

You hear anything enough times,
you start to believe it
(like the 'women can't do math'
and the 'women can't invest' myths).

Don't we have enough people
telling us what we can't do?

Abuse of any nature is uncalled for no matter what the gender. Now, what is really troubling is when governments step in and start dictating laws and such that either directly or indirectly favor one gender, usually due to statistics and studies giving erroneous or incomplete data.
