This is the first time I'm charging on day one.
I've been browsing this forum for quite a while and could never get to the stage where I felt comfortable charging on day one due to inexperience. A few months ago, a couple friends and I got together and we finally hashed something out.
The idea is to connect small businesses who are too busy or too small to care about getting exposure online with (at least initially) professional food bloggers who are always in need of new material to review (and eat).
In a way, it's a new spin on the subscription box businesses. It took me some time to whip up these two landing pages, and now that it's done (or at least the first draft of it) I feel a little lost. A couple days ago, one of my partners went to a local small business food convention to get contacts with some of the business owners (we have a list of about 50 now).
I've been told to run contests on Twitter and/or Facebook to get more exposure. Any feedback and/or strategies for getting my first customers would be amazing. Thanks!
