My name is Pete Robertson. I am a filmmaker and actor. (I'm listed on IMDB as Pete Robertson (II).)
My background is US Army, then college - earning a BS degree in economics. I worked as an accountant for many years. Most of my experience with start-ups was with the dot-coms in SF in the '90's. It's funny that none of the VC companies asked the accountants if those companies stood a snowball's chance in hell of making any money.
I'm currently in pre-production on a feature film and have talent attached. It's a good deal for investors thanks to Section 181 and the Oregon Production Investment Fund.
I'm trying to learn more about raising capital. If anyone has any tips, let me know.
