Hey Fastlaners ,
I’ve developed a natural beverage product with real traction and I’m now looking to scale distribution by getting into major supermarkets like Walmart, ShopRite, and ACME.
I understand that getting on shelves can be a Fastlane move if done strategically, maintaining control over branding, margins, and production while leveraging the massive distribution these retailers provide.
Before I jump in, I’d like to tap into our collective Fastlane wisdom:
✅ What have been your most effective methods for getting products placed in major retailers while keeping leverage on your side?
✅ How do you handle negotiations to protect your margins and avoid dependency?
✅ Are there buyer outreach strategies, trade show hacks, or specific pitch structures that worked for you?
✅ How did you handle production ramp-up to avoid cash flow issues when orders scale?
If you’ve done this, or know someone who has, I’d love to hear:
This will help me align this move with the Fastlane principles (control, scale, leverage) while avoiding getting stuck in a low-margin treadmill.
Thanks in advance for your insights, legends.
Stay Fastlane,
Aboubacar COULIBALY
