Im interested in investing as I have quite a bit (too much) cash. I don't have time to actively trade or invest. I just ran across an ad for for one of these companies (futureadvisors) the picks your investments based on an algorithm -- I didnt even know they existed. Does anyone have any experiences with any of these types of companies? How are your returns?

Just stumbled on Wealthfront and that sounds interesting...
Only available for americans though...seems kind of a limiting factor. (So bad that many possible options for different type of services are only available for the american markets.)

I've heard good things about Personal Capital, but haven't used them as they aren't available in Australia.

I think there is a great opportunity for someone to offer a service like this outside of the US.

I know tradebots for bitcoin/altcoin markets exist. With, depending on the software, complex algoritms. Haasbot is a very nice one if I remember correct. Might not be what you are looking for, but it has the algorithms used in normal stockmarkets. Might be a starting point.
