I remember that "Don't Look Up" was torn to shreds here and, looking back and thinking about it, I would say rightly so.

What is everybody's benchmark and what are notable series that people might want to look into?

I have a hard time with this. Right now, I only want series to "reserve judgement" and bring up interesting conflicts that people can then take apart.
"Don't Look Up" does not survive this criterion (preserve judgement) at all, but I still feel like a framework to evaluate series should be a little more sophisticated than that.

I just started watching "Wednesday" and feel like it drifts into being too "based" when Wednesday simply vanishes when the topic of the "Partiarchy" comes up. But then again I am torn. Digging into that whole concept might not be that valuable.
What are your benchmarks and which series stand out ... or raise questions?

Ouch, "reserve judgement" for 2 episodes ...
