Effective and effcient methods

What are some good ways to get businesses to participate in a lead gen or subscription website? Eventually I'm going to want think about expanding to other cities and states so any ideas will help.

Giving them alot of customers, increasing there business, cash flow, and knowledge are key points that every business needs more of.

If you have all of those key points readily available for any and every business, contact them and see what they have to say, giving them an incentive is important.

Now this is where I'm kind of stuck. Should I hire some help to cold call some of these companies or mail them information etc?

I'm not specifically in the lead generation business, but I use an analytics service called Visistat.

One of their additional services is a really cool thing where they match up your web site visitors IP addresses with the probable businesses that match that IP.

In addition to getting people to sign up to your services (so you can offer them as "leads"), I'd think this little application would be helpful; you would have a list of potential leads based just on them having visited your site.
