For those who are interested, the following is a brief video explaining what money is and how it is created. It also explains our Fractional Reserve Banking System in an easy-to-understand manner. Only 5% of money comes from the "printing press" aka mint. 95% of money is simply created. By banks. Loaning money. Out of thin air. If everybody got out of debt, there would be no money. That's the paradox. Debt creates money. Without debt, the money would dry up. Which is what happened during the Great Depression. Enjoy!
