I've owned a business in the service industry. As for the industry, I'll leave it ambiguous. I would advise against getting into any business that is service centric. It requires too much work and it will never be autonomized due to requiring constant supervision and management.

My question regards commodity sales. Cast a big enough net and you'll catch enough fish. The internet is a good community for this. I want to begin selling items. I've used Ebay, but I'd rather start my own website. Even if you can create a great website, if no one sees it then it doesn't matter. Does anyone have any experience with E-commerce and can recommend a great SEO service? I need to drive traffic to my site if I expect to sell my commodities. Any experience or perspective is appreciated.
