Why would this make me anxious?

Interesting look at what goes on inside an iphone factory.

tl;dw: Chinese 20-somethings work an entry level position for $450/mo plus dorm housing, putting in the same screw every day for 12 hours, and get a new job every 2-4 weeks. Watch tv at home in the evenings, and go to the market on the weekends.

Doesn't sound like conditions are harsh or anything, except having managers that yell at you sometimes.

Sorry, I misinterpreted you OP. I was thinking you meant anxiety from a "using sweat shop labor to create products for your business", and I should feel bad about it, kind of way.

Yes, I'd rather take the moose, then personally do any of that as well.

Can't blame the Chinese. They have to use a shit ton of human labour to compensate for lack of technological and outsourcing advantages that the Americans have.

But if you observe the net worths and industries of Chinese billionaires, they have some of the highest kill ratios as not only have they defied their social norms of servitude, but they have access to an insane consumer base. Mark my words, in a few years, the battle for China's consumers will be a bloody bloodbath. With approx. 90% of the average population working as employees, the actual numbers run against the Chinese-billion population, as a metric for target consumers will be HUGE.
