Hey guys, lately I have been thinking about an idea I have regarding selling some kind of guide or training for the job field I am in.

So basically I work in a field that is fairly niche and the earning potential is +100k/yr. It doesn’t require a college degree and is relatively easy to get into this field and get hired on.

Now with this field being niche, not too many people know about it or assume that it requires a degree. I have been considering somehow selling a guide or something of the sort for a couple hundred bucks, it’s information I would of paid for prior to getting into the field.

what do you guys think?

What is this niche which has no guides or courses for it yet?

Is there something similar to what you said on the market?
Not from what I can find. If you were to google “how to become a xxxx” you will either find plenty of generic pages with little real info, info on similar but not the same type of job, or outright misinformation.

I think the angle I would like to market this with is not so much the actual career itself but the fact that there is a relatively low barrier of entry with a higher than average wage. Perhaps market to students or job seekers.

I see your point, however a quick search that I did yielded a vast pool of information on anything in the construction field.
I`m assuming you dont mean specialist construction work since you said that the barrier to entry is low.
Maybe your niche is really unique, but I cant be sure since you are not specifing what it is.

Look at this:

It is in the construction field.
I've been thinking a lot about construction recently, I worked in this space for about 4 years on the commercial side and have been looking into opportunity in software and digitalization. The industry (particularly in the UK) has an awful lot of problems. What is your experience?
