if you have not already read any of MJs books, I recommend starting there, as it will provide you a foundation of knowledge that all members here have

I do in fact have two books from Mr. DeMarco. I really do love his books. I just want to learn more. And yes,

I am a newbie at this forum.

Google Search, Youtube video, search feature on this forum and Trial and error.

NO! DON'T!

If you need money find a side-activity to fund your business. If you don't have experience you shouldn't borrow nor associate with anyone (even less so if they're friends or family).

I did these two things, screwed my life for years and I'm still suffering the consequences.

Uh? You came on a business forum and ask IF anyone has business experience???? Read the threads and learn. Follow the links and watch the videos. Read the books. The burden is on you to educate yourself. You are not ready to start anything unless it's something simple like providing a service. Even mowing lawns and babysitting can teach you something about business. And, NO, don't borrow any money.
