Hi friends! I really want to start a business from scratch and i came upon some beautiful images that urge me to do something about it. I'm wondering if the idea of selling motivational cards would be good for helping people out. Feel free to post any feedbacks and advices! I will really appreciate some help from u guys. They already exist, so they must sell. Put your own spin on it and give it a shot. Seems to be a fairly easy idea to pursue.

When you walk into a Christian/Family books stores, or gift stores like Hallmark, or other places that sell products, you will have a tendency to find cards, paintings, clocks, jewelry, or ornaments/decorations to display in the home and office with quotes or popular sayings. That is pretty endless, put it on anything and some people like it. I know even some people make decals to put on the wall in home with sayings.
In tourist towns you see that kind of stuff in little shops at least in Mackinac Island, and U.P. At Barns and Noble you can find all kinds of different games, cards, etc. I don't know a mall I haven't seen something like that in Europe or U.S. I suppose it just matters what you're saying and if people agree with it.

The idea is fine. Not sure how people will use them. Will they pull a random card and get a boost of motivation?

More importantly, who would be your customer?

i don't think people really "need" motivational cards

When the economy goes to shits do people still really "need" to buy your motivational cards?

edit: I thought about your idea in the past, i left it because i felt it wasn't really a major need

I somewhat like the idea of a box (or individual cards).

I for myself was thinking about writing an ebook full of motivational sayings divided by topics, like money, relationships or work.

I believe the idea can work if instead you create an App for a smart phone that can show the cards on your screen, I think what people carry nowadays are just keys wallet and phones. [emoji846]
