I often ponder setting up category killer directory sites, I have so may domains in health, fitness, business and technology..many of which are keyword-type domain names like (ClevelandTechnology.com, ScottsdaleContractor.com, iBuyer.properties, etc) over 300 plus some good brandable names.
I always think about creating directories out of these domains but why when the mega directories like Yelp and Angieslist are all I see. I know the owner of this website did one for limo services many years ago, but would that still work today? The latest domains names I got are for cyber security, a very fragmented industry right now, and I'm also a cyber security analyst, so setting up a hub for this would be easy for me.
I would try to get traffic and resell the leads to vendors, but have no idea how to do this and if it would even work anymore. I ask businesses if they would buy leads, all say NO, they don't need anymore business, which is odd to me, but I guess it's the type of economy we are in right now. Many I speak to dont even want a website, their business is non stop on referral basis only..amazing!
Any thought anyone???
