I ve stumbled over articles on a DIY dumb bell and found this:

You can put the weight into the dumb bell and the whole thing saves room.
Since there are some people who don't have the room for bigger home fitness stuff, this could be interesting. Also you can move this completely around so it can be used to sit on for a guest in your room etc.
To test the market you could build some of these out of wood and paint it in a stylish color and put them for like 99 a piece on ebay and see what happens...
