I just signed up for Principles of Microeconomics. The prof seems very passionate about teaching the subject! I haven't taken an economics course since high school so this should be a good refresher.

This may have been posted before(though a precursory search didn't uncover a link), but the Mises Institute is a gold mine for free ebooks and lectures on economics. Literature Library: free books from the Ludwig von Mises Institute

Some of the must reads are:

"Why American History Is Not What They Say" Jeff Riggenbach

"Men of Wealth: The Story of Twelve Significant Fortunes from the Renaissance to the Present Day" John T. Flynn

"Foundations of the Market Price System" Milton M. Shapiro

"The Pure Time-Preference Theory of Interest" Jeffrey M. Herbener - This is the single greatest book I have ever read on consumer thinking, and I've read a lot of them.

"On Freedom and Free Enterprise: Essays in Honor of Ludwig von Mises" Mary Sennholz

There are many more that I am forgetting, and I don't feel that I can comment on them without violating forum rules. So if you do believe in free enterprise, you will more than likely enjoy their free ebooks.

Thanks for the great find!
Just started Greek and Roman Mythology.
Will be starting a class May 1, titled Inspiring Leadership through Emotional Intelligence.
This one sounds really interesting.
I love that I can continue my education for free

Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship

This class started yesterday... looks like a great crash course in idea generation for entrepreneurs.

Explore how to identify and develop great ideas into great companies. Learn how to identify opportunities based on real customer needs. Take the first steps to creating a successful company.

This is the #1 entrepreneurship course on Coursera, and the #3 overall business course. You can add in any time this week for free, and it's a quick four week course.

Good luck! - Vigilante
